Memorial Service: Saturday, December 21, 2013
George Donald Sparks, 81, passed away December 6, 2013. He was born September 23, 1932. He was an elder minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 55 years. He retired from Chrysler after 38 years as a corporate quality control auditor.
He was the loving husband of 57 years for Florence Petree Sparks; father to Matthew (Bobbi) Sparks and Steven (Rhonda) Sparks; grandfather to Brandi (Jason) Dunn, Summer (Mike) Gerking, Judith (Dan) Corner, Dallas (Ashley) Sparks, and Savannah Sparks; great-grandfather to Ellie, Vivia, and Maverick Sparks; brother to Morris and Norman Sparks, Geneva Laswell, and Doris Baumann.
A memorial service will be held on December 21, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Garfield Park Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, located at 4809 East Raymond Street, Indianapolis. Arrangements by Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donation to the Worldwide Work of Jehovah’s Witnesses ( jw.org ).

Don was such a warm and loving brother. That fact is obvious when you come to know his loving wife and family. His kind smile, friendly words, and firm handshake always spoke volumes to the kind of person that Don was. His steady and faithful course gave us an example to follow, and is locked in Jehovah’s memory. We look forward seeing that perfect smile again, in brighter times.
